Although tickets are sold out, I have started a waiting list so get in touch if this applies to you and if anyone drops out you will be notified.
The day starts at 14.00pm with the BBQ, together with a disco and Live Music.
All proceeds will be given to our charity this year “Reach Out”

Grading  Young Gloves karate will be grading the week beginning 11 July.   This will be for all students that have done the required amount of training and are ready for their next rank.
All students from Yell belt will be expected to perform all their techniques with only Japanese instructions so please make sure you fully know what is required. The syllabus is on our website.

Karate Licence.  All students need to be in procession of a current valid licence which is filled in correctly signed and with a photo.

Sparring Kits Anyone Orange belt or high needs to have their own sparring kits.  Please bring them to all lessons and gradings.

Twice a week  Remember that in order to progress through the karate sylabuss successfully students will need to put effort in and train regularly.   From Orange/Green belt it is recommended that 2 lessons are attended each week.

Summer Holls  Officially the club breaks up on Sat July 23, although we will be training throughout the summer at Franche School only on Weds nights.  Karate and Boxercise
(Location Address on our website).
These are “Bonus” lessons for all members member’s and are great fun sessions.

Stourport Carnival  Sept. 3rd Sept Young Gloves will be marching through Stourport High street taking part in the first carnival since Covid.   I’d really like to see all members along with family members joining in, walking with the Young Gloves carnival float representing our club.
The theme for this year’s event is “Bee Kind” and I’m asking all students to get involved prior to the date by bringing in pictures of Bees with key phrases such as “Bee Kind”, “Bee a friend”, Bee Considerate”…….you get the picture.
All pictures will be used to decorate the float and will make a really nice display, highlighting the need to both protect wildlife as well as the message to be kind to each other.

New Students Lastly we are always on the lookout for new members so please spread the word to family and friends.  Recommend someone else to receive a Free “TOP SUPPORTER” T Shirt when they become members.
